She has been in practice with MercyOne Clinics since 1994, starting initially at the central pediatric clinic and then moving to open the new Ankeny pediatric clinic in 2005.
Since 2015 she has also served as the pediatric department chair for MercyOne Medical Group Central Iowa.
Dr. Schutte and her husband have 3 grown sons and 2 grandpuppies. In her spare time, she loves to crochet, cook, and garden.
