Dr. DiMeo began the pediatric gastroenterology practice at Mercy Pediatric Specialty Clinic in 2005. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., and earned his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, N.H. Dr. DiMeo completed a general pediatrics residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa.
Dr. DiMeo is board certified in pediatric gastroenterology. He cares for all pediatric GI conditions, including: feeding disorders, liver disease, GERD, abdominal pain, constipation, pancreatitis, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis and has special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (i.e., Crohn’s and colitis).
He provides the following procedural services: Upper and Lower Endoscopy, Endoscopic Dilation, Liver Biopsy, EndoFlip for measurement of esophageal distensibility, Polypectomy, Bravo pH Testing and Breath Hydrogen Testing.
