From a young age, Dr. Omar Yacob found a fascination with how life and the human body work. A 5th generation doctor, Omar grew up surrounded by people discussing and exchanging ideas about the wonders of the human body. During his clinical years, Dr. Yacob felt drawn to cardiology, a field he felt would give him a sense of achievement and produce a positive impact on humanity. As a medicine resident, he was allured by the volcanic unpredictability of the heart and the many faceted approaches to providing care. His goal is to be a specialist in the field of cardiology, a well-trained doctor who appreciates the gift of life and delivers the best care possible while always striving for further improvement.
