Christopher Martin, MD, is a physician at MercyOne North Iowa General Surgery.

Christopher attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois for his bachelor’s degree and completed his graduate studies at the University of Illinois Graduate College and SIU School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. Christopher completed his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich.

“My dedication to my work as a physician was formed and shaped by a personal loss when I was a child. Supportive family members and invaluable mentorships by senior medical professionals was what influenced my desire to assist others and form my commitment to patient care and innovative medical solutions,” said Christopher.

In his free time, Christopher pursues precision machining, finding great satisfaction in creating intricate pieces, and spending time with family.
