“Receiving emergency care is crucial to a patient’s survival rate, so I enjoy being able to help my patients get the urgent care they need,” said Renee, nurse practitioner at the MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center.

Renee is passionate about providing care to acutely injured persons quickly and has a special interest in working with children. “I enjoy guiding my younger patients through their journey and development,” said Renee.

Renee received her associate degree in nursing from Northeast Iowa Community College in Dubuque, Iowa. She graduated from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, with a Baccalaureate of Science in nursing, where she received her Doctor of Nursing practice in family nurse practitioner as well.

“I worked for MercyOne in the intensive care unit over 20 years before transitioning to MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center as a nurse practitioner,” said Renee. “I’ve chosen to stay with MercyOne because of the people. Everyone is supportive and there is opportunity to further your career. I consider myself lucky to be working here.”
