Health and Wellness, Elkader - Babysitting Class

Babysitting Class to be held August 11th

MercyOne Elkader Medical Center will be sponsoring a babysitting class Wednesday, August 11, 2021. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Central Community School, Elkader. The class is for students 10-13 years of age. Instructor Andrea Knipper, RN will cover primary responsibilities of a sitter, family life, how and when to call 911, health and safety.

Registration is required and class size is limited. Students must wear a mask during the class. Students are to meet instructor in lobby of school entrance. The instructor will take them to the classroom. Deadline to register is August 6th.

A $10 registation fee per student covers handouts, snacks and certificate of completion. Checks can be made payable to MercyOne Elkader Medical Center. 

To register send the $10 registration fee along with the name of the child participating, their age, and name and contact information of parent or guardian.
