Community Benefit

Community benefits are programs or activities that provide treatment or promote health and healing in response to identified community health needs. These activities are at the heart of our Mission of serving vulnerable populations and improving the health of our communities. Community benefit programs and activities must meet at least one of the following objectives:

• Improve access to health care services
• Enhance public health of the community
• Advance increased medical knowledge
• Relieve or reduce the burden of government to improve health

MercyOne is proud to have invested $200.7 million in community benefit in fiscal year 2023.
