  • Maintains clean conditions patient rooms, offices, common areas and closet/storage areas to meet hospital standards.

  • Responsible for one-on-one continuous observation and care of assigned patient.
  • Remains with and observes assigned patient at all times and notifies the nursing staff if the patient requires additional assistance or other nursing intervention.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent required

  • Receive, stock, deliver, order and ship supplies, and inventory for medical center departments using supply chain management tools.
  • Keep receiving and stock area stocked and fully functioning.

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED required. No experience required

  • Patrols various areas of MercyOne facilities and grounds and acts to deter loss of hospital, associate, patient and visitor property.
  • Assists patients and visitors with directions and information.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent required

  • Operates, repairs, cleans and inspects multiple different facility equipment including boiler, chiller system, plumbing, HVAC, thermostats etc.
  • Performs preventive maintenance and safety tests on equipment and systems.

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED required.

  • Provides high level telecommunications customer service.
  • Connect calls from public, on-campus departments and off-campus locations.
  • Responsible for providing exceptional customer service including greetings and providing directions to various areas in the medical centers.
  • Provide support for all beeper paging on carts.

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED required.

  • Perform clerical duties that support the daily activities of nursing units.
  • Maintenance and filing of patient information on unit, greeting and navigating visitors, updating calendars, sorting mail and additional duties as needed.
  • Serves as communication liaison on the clinical unit.

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED or equivalent required. Basic computer experience required.

  • Serves as the lead person for daily clinical needs including overseeing and assisting colleagues with billing duties, scheduling and calendar maintenance, monitoring patient flow of clinic, managing office supplies and inventory.
  • Responds to patient calls, patient inquiries and relaying messages through proper channels that ensure patient care and quality of service.

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED required.

  • Gathers registration forms including patient’s demographic, medical, financial and insurance information and performs billing processes as identified.
  • Greets, instructs and directs all incoming patients, visitors and phone calls.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent required.

  • Collect or receive samples of fluids or tissues. Determine if the quality and quantity are sufficient for testing. Use the lab equipment or chemicals to prepare the samples for testing. Perform the required tests on the samples. Keep accurate records. Label the specimens appropriately and send them to other departments as needed.
