- Provides care for patients in various units and departments within a hospital or clinic setting. Diagnoses and determines treatments plans.
Qualifications: Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible
- Rounds, consults and treats patients within a medical center or clinic.
Qualifications: Active license in the State of Iowa as a Nurse Practitioner and board certification required
- Appropriately manages patient care and health status after initiating a treatment/preventive plan. Monitors and adjusts as warranted. Responds correctly to patient related emergencies. Prescribes pharmaceuticals and other medications and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
Qualifications: Physician Assistant license to practice in Iowa and board certification in applicable specialty
- Under limited supervision, performs clinical CRNA duties under the direction and supervision of the department medical director, anesthesiologists, surgeons and other attending physicians. CRNA’s will maintain professional credentials, clinical knowledge and skills, and physical status capable of delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to all patients treated by MercyOne.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse and ARNP Certified Nurse Anesthetist License in the State of Iowa as well as national certification by the board of certification and recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Performs evaluations and treatments to a diverse population in a variety of settings and completes supporting documentation according to hospital policy. Appropriately establishes and reviews: plan of care, goals and priorities with team (including patient/family); treatment in response to changing patient needs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s and master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and current certificate of clinical competence from ASHA or obtain within one year of hire
- Uses the knowledge of physics to aid in the development and us of medical radiation treatments, devices and technologies.
Qualifications: Graduate of a Master’s or Doctorate program
- Understands interactions of medications and communicates with patients about their prescriptions.
Qualifications: Completion of a Doctorate of Pharmacy program and board certification
- : Determines radiation treatment for oncology patients.
Qualifications: Completion of a Dosimetry program
- Based on assignment: Performs evaluations and treatments (including the application of topical medications used in treatment modalities and/or burn/wound care) to infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in a variety of settings. Completes supporting documentation according to hospital/clinic policy.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy and completion of a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensed or eligible for licensure in Iowa
- Evaluates and treats patients of all ages. Develops treatment plans with involvement of family/support systems to meet the individual’s functional goals. Provides direct supervision of support personal as related to patient care.
Qualifications: Graduate of a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program and license to practice in Iowa
- Works to aid in the transition and safety of patients discharging from the medical center.
Qualifications: Completion of a master's degree in social work
- Works with patients in need of mental health and/or substance abuse intervention in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in clinical psychology
