Earn while you learn!
MercyOne’s Pharmacy Technician training program allows you to learn on the job as you work toward your pharmacy technician certification.
- If selected, applicants will receive all book, testing and certification fees paid for by MercyOne.
- Candidates will work full-time to reach 500 hours required for certification while making a competitive wage.
- Candidates must receive National Pharmacy Technician Certification and register with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician within one year of hire date.
- Applicants must be 16 years or older at time of hire.
- After completion of the program and successfully passing national and state certifications, colleagues will be eligible to apply for a permanent Pharmacy Technician position on the pharmacy team, with a pay increase.
