Psychiatry Rural Residency

Coming soon! MercyOne Psychiatry Residency is expanding and adding a Rural Track.

Interviews for 2 Rural Psychiatry Residency slots will begin during the 2024-2025 ERAS Interview Season. The start of the new track is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2025.

PGY 1 and 2 rotations will be the same as our already well-established Psychiatry Residency program with rotation sites spread throughout the Des Moines area. PGY 3 and 4 rotation sites will take place in rural Mason City, Iowa.
